New For 2008 Desk Pens and Stands

After seeing David Epstein's beautiful jewelry from Iberville shale stone, inspired me to use this stone for pen bases.  These stones are found on the shores of Lake Champlain    Click HERE to see David's beautiful jewelry and this link for info on the Lake Champlain Thrust Fault Small Iberville shale beach stones,  1   2

All wood used in making my pens is 100% reclaimed and Green Wood.  I gather it from many sources, weather damaged trees, firewood, scrap wood from woodshops and waste wood from this local mill.
Exclusively Vermont Wood Products

Custom made pens from your wood. Lost a favorite tree in your yard? Have an old hammer with a broken handle that was your grandfathers? An old un-repairable piece of furniture? Or do you have a beautiful piece of wood that you have had for a long time. I can take a small piece of your wood and make pens for you and your family.

Reclaimed Antique Wormy Chestnut from buildings and barns in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.  Wood was cut 100 to 200 years ago.
History of the American Chestnut.

I have some of the last American elm that was cut from the Vermont State House lawn, planted in the mid 1850's.  The old elm was in failing heath for years, it was finally cut. I rescued the scraps from this tree and use to make State House Elm Pens.
